It has been an exhausting and overwhelming week-- one filled with much fear and tears. It's easy to trust God when things are going well, but so much harder when your worst case scenario becomes reality. And yet, there is still so much to be thankful for. Even during this difficult time, it is reassuring to know that God is here and that He is in control.
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
