We had fun trying new places during our travels to San Clemente.

One of the first places we stopped by was Bear Coast Coffee, right across from the beach with its hipster beach vibes. It definitely hit the spot.

coffee & matcha latte.

For dinner, we walked down Avenida Del Mar and ended up at H. H. Cotton's-- a restaurant named after one of the city's founders.

hummus and veg; black bean hummus, grilled veggie kebobs, lemon tahini.

fried "rice"; farro, cauliflower, kimchee, edamame, corn, salsa verde.

hamilton's standard burger with market salad; 8 oz. chuck patty, american cheese, green leaf lettuce, caramelized onion, tomato preserves, thick cut bacon, toasted brioche.

We also stopped by Slapfish for some seafood.

crispy fish and chips; flakey whitefish served with housemade tartar sauce and real fries.

ultimate fish taco; giant two-handed crispy fish taco, cabbage, awesome sauce, pickled onion.
