First, we peeled six large russet potatoes and cut them into large chunks. Then we filled the Instant Pot with enough water to cover the potatoes and pressure cooked it for nine minutes. Don't forget to add salt to the water! Afterward, we drained the potatoes and put them into a large mixing bowl.

Then we added ¼ cup of butter (half of a stick), ½ cup of sour cream, ¼ cup of milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

After we mashed the potatoes with the potato masher (love this tool), we added green onions and crispy bacon! We regrew the green onions from store bought ones and love them because they are so thin and soft!
