This month's take-home family project was an aquarium plate, in preparation for a school field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Most of the projects are pretty open ended, so our daughter decided that she wanted to watercolor.

Pretty impressed by her creativity and cutting skills at 4 years old.

She also wanted a couple of hanging sea creatures, so a mini hole punch and twine did the trick.

She also requested glitter, but we've had plenty of fun experiences with it getting all over the place-- so we substituted the glitter with self-adhesive rhinestones.

Of course, the other little one wanted to join in on the fun too. So she painted her own masterpiece! ♥
