happy mid-autumn festival!

Our daughter's school celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival this week-- so we decided to make some crafts at home too. The girls went out to look for the jade rabbit at night, so it was only fitting to make it as our craft. Looked online for some ideas and then just decided to do something simple.

For the first one, printed out an outline of a rabbit and cut four circles out of patterned paper. Next, folded the circles in half and glued each half to either the rabbit or another circle to make the moon. Our youngest had fun coloring the rabbit, the moon, and placing stickers all over the rabbit.

For the second one, just traced the first bunny to make things easier. Our eldest diligently colored and placed celestial stickers all over the rabbit!
