The past few weeks or so, we've enjoyed some food adventures with family and friends. Some new places and some places we already love. ♥

Girls brunch at Mari Vees during its soft opening. It was delicious and the drinks were spot on!

chilaquiles; crispy tortilla chips, red salsa, sour cream, queso fresco, red onion, avocado, sunnyside up eggs.

Love the breakfast at Yi Mei.

We love Shake Shack when we're in the area-- but next time we definitely need to get a shake.

double shackburgers; angus beef cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun.
shack-made lemonade; made in house with real juice and real cane sugar.

Tacos y Que hit the spot with all that guacamole! This place was a nice surprise.
asada burrito and quesadilla; seasoned steak, cilantro onion mix, salsa, guacamole, pickled onion.

Golden Deli is the perfect place for takeout when we're too tired to make dinner.

laing; coconut braised taro leaves, smoked trout, thai chili.


kare kare; roasted short rib, peanut sauce, king mushrooms, long beans, bok choy, egg plant, peanut brittle, bagoong xo.
garlic rice; fried garlic, confit oil.


Dessert always hits the spot and Kanomwaan Thai Gelato and Dessert Cafe was tasty!
