During the summer, we dug up the grass in the backyard to make a patch to plant sunflower seeds. After months of watering and waiting, these beauties are finally opening! It's so exciting to see the transformation from little babies to towering giants (the tallest one is over nine feet tall)! For the past week, we've looked out the window several times a day to admire these bright happy flowers. Totally worth it!
