There's nothing quite like good food, and lots of it. Here are some of the other places we tried while in Vancouver. The first stop was at Breakfast Table, a straight shot up from the airport.

Hipster Benedict; two poached eggs, house made peppered bacon, tomato, avocado, english muffin, bearnaise.

Old Faithful; two eggs, house made peppered bacon, toast.

We also stopped by Pizza Pzazz while at Granville Island for pepperoni pizza and soda!

We saw Japadog stands all over the place, so we had to try it when we passed the downtown store.

Kurobuta Terimayo; the juicy kurobuta sausage elevates the flavours of the terimayo sauce.
Yakiniku Rice; flavoured rice, and BBQ style beef on top of an arabiki sausage.

Pulled Pork Poutine

Lupo was one of two restaurants we actually made reservations for before the trip, but sadly it didn't live up to expectations. While the restaurant looked beautiful and the food was good, the service was lackluster. It was still a good night, just not that exciting.

Bread Basket; extra virgin olive oil.

Octopus Mosaic; limoncello vinaigrette, pimenton.

Rack of Lamb; rapini and basil pesto, chianti, eggplant parmigiana.

Tagliatelle Nero; trio of prawns, jalapeno, roasted tomato, lemon.

We wrapped up our travels with dim sum at Western Lake-- the 蝦餃 and 燒賣 were gigantic (double the size of regular ones)!

And the perfect dessert after a good meal is always ice cream. At Rain or Shine Ice Cream, they had delicious earl grey.

London Fog; a perfect balance earl grey and bergamot from "the tea guy" in North Vancouver, paired so naturally with tahitian vanilla beans for a pleasant herbal and floral scoop.
