roasted brussels sprouts with bacon; brussels sprouts, bacon, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper.

First we washed and dried the brussels sprouts. Then we quartered them (we've tried various sizes and that seems to work the best).


We cooked the bacon separately, but you could easily throw them in the oven too!


We tossed the brussels sprouts in olive oil and whatever we had leftover from cooking the bacon. Then we topped it off with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.


Since we like the brussels sprouts crispy, we roasted it at 400°F for almost an hour until it turned dark, almost black.
